Montessori Enriched Nursery School Daily Itinerary and Activity Plan

This half- day program is licensed for children two and a half to four years of age.  Parents can choose between 2 days, 3 days or 5 days program . Half day or Full day.

Mornings
9:00-9:45 Active Play 
9:45-10:00 Tidy Up

10:00-10:15 Circle time 

10:15-11:00 Montessori Classes Daily Activities, Self care, / Sensorial, Language/ Math or Culture

11-11:15 Snack
11:15-11;30 Music, Language,  get ready to go home              

Afternoons
12:30-1:15 Active Play
1:15- 1:30 Tidy Up

1:30- 1:45 Circle Time

1:45- 2:30  Montessori Classes Daily Activities, Self care, / Sensorial, Language/ Math or Culture

 2:30-2:45  Snack
2:45-3:00  Music, language/get ready to go home 

The Program

Circle:

A child’s name is selected to assist the teacher with different activities during this time. This helps them learn to recognize their name in print and to promote 
leadership roles.

• Daily greeting
• Calendar and weather (lets sing and learn about the days of the week, 
  months of the year, weather and seasons)
• Story time
• Introduction to weekly theme (revisited in cognitive)
• Show and tell
• Letter of the week

Art & Sensory:
Daily teacher directed art activity, followed by:

• Playdough, water table, sand table
• Easel painting
• Crayons, chalk board, scissors
• Beading, lacing etc.

Cognitive:

The goal/objective is to provide as many creative activities and opportunities which promote letter, colours, shapes and number (associating numbers with values 1-10) recognition, as possible.

Activities such as:

• Sound bags, felt stories, puppets, board games, books and songs are used to enhance learning experiences across a broad range of relevant topics.
  
  
• Musical instruments and interactive songs


• All of the activities are  enriched and Enhanced with Montessori Method and is introduces to children by Montessori Materials and Certified Montessori Teachers.
