After School Program for children 4-12 years of age

Better Beginnings offers children:

  • Pick up  by our staff only from Courcelette and Blantyre (walking to our location)​


After School Itinerary


3:00-4:00 pm Arrival of students: 
free play; group time; snack; homework; outdoor play

4:00 -5:00 pm  Activity Time (choice of scheduled small group activities):
  • Creative Arts Activities (arts & crafts, drama, music, etc.)
  • Physical Activities/Sports (fitness, team games, dance, etc.)
  • Special events (theme days, celebrations, performances, special guests, etc.)
  • Special Interest Activities:
    • Enrichment activities (science, math, reading, writing, etc.)
    • Hobbies (collections, cooking, gardening, knitting, nature, building and transportation, chess, puzzles, etc.)
5:00 – 5:30pm:  Free Play
5:30  – 6:00pm: Clean up and preparation for departure
6:00 pm: Program ends

Fees

$25/day  $5370.00 for 10 Months of School. Monthly $537.00

This program is only offered on a full time basis, five afternoons per week.
  • There are no special arrangements available for pick up from TDSB for extra curricular activities.  We pick up at dismissal time and walk children to Better Beginnings.  If your child participates in TDSB sports activities etc.  It is your responsibility to make arrangements to have your child brought to BB afterwards.
  •  Payment  is required for all days your child is registered to participate. If absent due to illness, or family  holidays scheduled during school days, you are still responsible for payment.
  • 30 days notice is required in writing to withdraw your child from the program.
  • A $75 non-refundable registration fee is required to confirm enrollment.
  • Enrolled families in After School Program  are able to attend our PA Day Drop off care for Extra $60.00 a day on first come first serve basis.
